Words From Our Adopters...

Vito...

Vito is awesome Bonnie....he is the absolute perfect kitty I've ever seen.  He does everything right and we've not had one tiny little problem with him (knocking on wood).  He is handsome as ever and struts his stuff in our apartment like he's the king.  He also adores his cat tree and spends his lazy days on top of it looking out the window or supervising whatever my daughter and I are doing. He has never been outside or never been around other cats either, only at the vet.

He's a blast and a big part of our little family.  My daughter loves him more than anything and just dotes on the little guy.  He gets so much attention from all our friends too and is used to being around other people that he just saunters right up to anyone that comes in.  He's so cute, fluffy and loveable.  I can't thank you enough for whatever you do, to make great pets for others....like us.

Vito said that you are more than welcome to use his picture to show others how he's turned out so well adjusted, happy and adorable.  He said his pic is not copywritten and you may use it how you like.  He also said that if he finds himself on the cover of "Kitty Weekly" or "Cat DIgest", he would like his residuals in Whisker Lickin' treats.  lololol

Here is one more for you, Bonnie...Vito was getting tired of wearing the Santa hat, so he stuck his tongue out at us!!  This one is a hoot.

~Pamela...oh, and Vito too.

Well this morning I went shopping and Todd (my husband) said he got bogie to step up in the house and was outside his cage for 5 or 10 mins.  He is also stated to talk!  He'll say Bogie, Bogie's a good boy, give kisses and do the cat call.  Everyday he's getting more and more comfortable!

Thank you very much for allowing him to become a part of our lives!

Shots of the "B" girls chillin' on their perch.
Bella won't shut up!!  I have Bella and Bandit next to each other and Bella is so excited!!  She flew onto Bandit's cage last night and they stood there for abour 5 minutes and looked at each other, then Bella flapped over to her cage and started chattering and hasn't quit!!  She is pleased to have a friend, I think.  Bandit is fine and has taken to being free out of her cage well.  She hangs out and whistles and watches the world go by with interest.  She is still plucking a bit, but appears to be preening a little more than plucking.  We are all in the same room so if she pucks we snap her attention away and she stops.  Benny is quite taken with her, though Bella is still his baby.  I believe Bandit has taken to my daughter and I.  Zachy (my 2 year old) held her last night and she was in perfect form.  She has not bitten or even threatened anyone yet and seems quite content.  We are happy with our new addition.

Prince...

Hello. It's Samantha. I adopted the Dwarf hamster a few weeks ago. I just wanted to let you know he is doing just fine.
He loves his new cage and home. He sleeps during the day, he's up sometimes if I am making a lot of noise, and at night, he runs and runs and runs in his wheel.   I don't have any pictures yet, but I will keep you posted!

Sir Charles...
Hi this is Kate of Page, Arizona. A couple of weeks ago I adopted Sir Charles, a beautiful loving Italian Greyhound through Ruth. I am trying to reach her, but the email link to her on your websight doesn't seem to be working right.

I just wanted to thank you SO MUCH for getting Sir Charles into our family. He is such a love! He is adjusting remarkably well and loves to run and play with Toby, and he loves even more to curl up with him and take a nap! Wherever one goes, the other follows. They are a perfect match. Interestingly, Sir Charles has emerged as the dominant one even though we have had Toby longer and Toby isn't neutered yet. (That is going  to change Wednsday) But they get along very well. Sir Charles is the most loving dog I think I have ever met. We love him so much we can't imagine our family with out him. Thank you so much for doing the good work that you do; to think of him alone in a shelter makes me want to cry.

I will send you some pictures once I get them developed. Thanks again.

Kate

P.S. Christmas Eve we took him for his first hike in the desert. He loved it! He is a very good hiker and is becoming more active everyday. When we first got him, he was very timid and wanted to be on one of our laps 24 hours a day. But he spends more and more time running, playing and exploring as time goes on and he begins to get over his seperation anxiety.

 Paris...
Hi Bonnie,
Just to let you know Sophie (Paris) is doing GREAT!!!. She's completely "at home", into everything, very nosey, barks at the vacuum, plays with Joey (takes anything he is playing with) and they race around the house. And she sleeps with me and Joey at night. She's a doll, we love her. She follows me wherever I go and I have to walk very slowly, then she sleeps at my feet when I'm on the computer. The housebreaking will take some time, but she's really smart and I'm sure will be fine.
                     Thanks
Betty

JennaLee...
Hi Bonnie~
Its Michelle and Jen. The proud family of Jennalee. First of all we ended up changing her name to Leeah. (felt it was to close to jen's name). She is doing so well now!! In the beginning we were afraid of losing her in the house or something, but she is now at that lanky stage. She is the queen of all things (even the dogs) they all play sooo well together!!! She is always so very curious about things. Loves to hide in cabinets and has a demanding meow when she wants things. All in all she is doing great and we are very happy to have her.
Wanted to keep you posted. Hope all the rest of the animals are good.
Michelle~

Miss Bella...

Hi Bonnie, Scott and Family!

Miss Bella had a GREAT night last night.  She is active, inquisitive and intrepid!  She loves the backyard and has insisted that I hand shear the little tufts of grass to the proper height for her enjoyment.  This morning was wonderful… seeing her little face come down the stairs HUNGRY!  She downed her meds with no reappearance, crunched about 15 kibbles, licked the spoon like a champ and then it was off to the back yard for some leisurely lounging in the morning sun.  Very relaxing.  She is a welcomed treasure and we love her very much.  She is clearly the new mistress of the backyard as she told our neighbor’s dog, Buck, where to go when he came out for his walk this morning.  She let him know that this is her territory and to make sure he respects her space.  He did just that.   Then she pranced around the perimeter of the yard like a little general and plopped down to see who else she could teach a lesson too.  Too cute!

Bonnie, the cuddle bug at the end of the couch says she has a message for you.  She says thank you so much for helping her when she needed it so badly.  Without you, she doesn’t know what would have happened and she say that she will always love and remember you.  You have an open invitation to come and see her anytime and we will be sending pictures in the next week.  I am going to take some video today and post it on HER website tomorrow.  I’ll email you a link tonight!

That’s our first night report!  She seems to be settling in beautifully.

Thanks for everything… she is the best little girl in the world!

            XOXOXO,

Miss Bella and her peeps, Shannon and Jeanine

Juliet...
Guess what Bonnie? I now have a really sweet little girl named Epiphany, formerly called Juliet. She gained a bit of weight, but she is now on a diet to get back her cute girlish figure. Thanks for letting me know about her again coming up for adoption. Madison is a bit jealous, but he's getting over it and is giving piffy, as I call her, kisses.

Thanks again,   JR

Dodge...

Hello Bonnie, Thought you might like to see how Dodge has grown.  He's still a small dog but a fireball of a dog!  We had him groomed yesterday and couldn't resist taking some pictures.

He's turned out to be "my" dog as in he follows me everywhere and sometimes won't come when my husband calls him, he will just sit by my feet.  He's a real sweet, smart dog.
Thanks again!  Everyone always asks, Where did you get that dog?
