Are You Ready To Adopt?

Adopting a new pet can be a very rewarding experience. Especially, if you take the time and the effort to research the many various breeds.

Some breeds are high energy, some require regular grooming needs and then some, they are more prone to medical conditions.

By researching the various breeds and then finding out, which breed is more compatible to your family. It is well worth the energy and the time spent. As it can literally mean the difference on keeping a pet inside of the home & happy.

Many times, an animal is adopted because he or she is so "cute".

Sadly, we recieve many "cute" babies into our rescue because the owners can no longer care for him or for her.

Adopting a new pet should not be taken lightly. Small breed dogs can easily live to be 15 + years. Some Birds can live 70 years. Regardless, they all depend on you, to care for them and to love them through the good and the bad...

Many of the rescues that we have, they have been "dumped". For one reason or another. Some are not fully housebroken, some have seperation anxiety, and all of them. Are in desperate need of patient, kind and of caring homes.

Loving homes that will understand them for just who they are. Homes that will accept their flaws and who will work with them to bring out the very best in them.

Each of our rescues has a story, each of our rescues have their own burdens to carry. Each one deserves a second chance at life.

We strive to give them them that chance.

If you think that you can provide a safe, loving & a permanent home,  to one of our little angels. Then please fill out the adoption application below.

Please be sure to give full details on your home and your lifestyle. As this helps us to match up personalities and also enviroments.

Our rescues are a part of us and we want to give them a wonderful new beginning. Each one is unique. Each one has a soulmate and we will try to make that match.

Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we truly do look forward, to helping you to find your new baby.

Please note: Young, female Yorkshire Terriers, Yorkshire Terrier puppies & the "teacup" sized yorkies rarely come through a rescue. The "norm" for the yorkies that come to us, are as follows: 4 years & older, mostly male,  we do see alot of seniors. Some are disabled, and the average weight on them is about 8 pounds & up. Please do not place an application with us if you are looking strictly for a puppy or for a "teacup size." we simply cannot help you in that area. While we deal with mostly all small breeds, the demand for the puppies & the smaller ones is extremely high.  Because of this, we have in turn created a waiting list.  It is the only way for us to handle the volume of applications coming through to us on a daily basis. After submitting your application, we will review it within 24 hours and if a possible match is indeed available. We will then notify you and arrange for a meeting. If no possible match is currently available. We will then place you on our waiting list.

How does the waiting list work?

We do not do a "first come first serve basis."

All rescues are evaluated, to see what would be a comfortable home for him or for her. Some like kids, some do not. Some do play well with other dogs and then some do not. We have to figure out what their comfort zone is and then try to place them appropriately. All of the little things can make a huge difference in their placement. After each rescue is evaluated, we then turn to our "list". We search through it to see if there is a possible match available for him or for her.  If we find a possible match on the list, we then notify the applicant, to see if he or she is still interested in adopting.  If we do not  find a possible match, then we simply wait until one does come through.  We have to keep each babies needs our top and our foremost priority. Sometimes the adoption process can take a while. We ask for your patience and for your understanding.  You may not recieve a personal response to your application, but rest assured. you have been added to the waiting list.  We go through a great many applications daily, just trying to make the matches. When they are made, it is just a wonderful thing and everyone involved goes home happy. Thank you again for considering a rescued pet.  The adoption application is located below.

Please Note: We do have an EXTREMELY long waiting list.
